Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand‑eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or work at a bench for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand soldering and machine soldering (through‑hole, SMT, wire‑to‑terminal) as applicable.
  • Read and follow work instructions, schematics, blueprints, and process docs.
  • Inspect solder joints for quality and conformance to specs.
  • Identify and report defects, deviations, or equipment issues.
  • Use soldering tools and related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S).
  • Follow safety, quality, and ESD requirements; meet productivity and attendance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives.

This role supports production goals by ensuring high‐quality workmanship, process compliance, and efficient throughput.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities*** Perform hand soldering and/or machine soldering (through‐hole, surface mount, wire‐to‐terminal, or assembly soldering as applicable)* Read and follow work instructions, schematics, blueprints, and process documentation* Inspect solder joints for quality, defects, and conformance to specifications* Use soldering tools such as soldering irons, reflow ovens, wave solder machines, and related equipment* Identify and report defects, process deviations, or equipment issues* Rework or repair assemblies as required per documented procedures* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards)* Follow all safety, quality, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) requirements* Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations* Participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives* Comply with all company policies and manufacturing procedures**Required Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED* Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions* Basic math and measurement skills* Manual dexterity and good hand‐eye coordination* Ability to stand, sit, or work at a bench for extended periods**Preferred Qualifications*** Previous soldering experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment* Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC‐A‐610, J‐STD‐001) preferred* Experience with surface mount (SMT) or through‐hole soldering* Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment* Ability to read basic electrical schematics or assembly drawings**Physical Requirements*** Ability to lift up to [50] lbs occasionally* Ability to perform fine motor tasks* Ability to visually inspect small components and solder joints* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, or fumes (PPE provided)**Work Environment*** Manufacturing/production floor* May involve exposure to soldering fumes, chemicals, or hot surfaces* PPE required as applicable**Competencies*** Attention to detail* Quality focus* Process adherence* Time management* Teamwork and communication* Safety awareness***Come join our global, inclusive & diverse team***Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
