OneSource Distributors in San Leandro, CA is hiring a Solar Order Picker/Specialist for on-site duties. You will pick, assemble, and ship solar energy orders, operate RF systems, and safely handle fragile PV panels and energy storage devices.

The role requires forklift certification and a proven warehouse background in solar products. The position offers a stable schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a hourly pay range of $22.00–$27.00 and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience in solar or renewable products.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurate picking of materials to support solar energy orders.
• Pick and assemble customer orders via RF environment.
• Operate equipment to retrieve items from shelves and storage areas.
• Process order instructions accurately; inspect products for damage.
• Safely handle photovoltaic panels, inverters and energy storage.
• Transfer product boxes from racks to pallets, ergonomically.
• Follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety rules.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to manage inventory levels.
• Work independently and in a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment and report issues.
• Frequent lifting up to 50-75 lbs throughout the day.
