Job summary

SunStrong Management is seeking an independent Technician 2 to perform solar service work safely and efficiently, including panel and inverter swaps, disconnect/reconnect, and on-site documentation.

The role requires 1+ year solar experience, comfort with heights, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently on standard service calls; driving is required and roof work is involved.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of solar or relevant field experience.
• Roof-ready and comfortable working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license (subject to driver record check).
• Works independently on standard service calls.
• Roof competent.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work independently, including panel swaps.
• Inverter swaps (string + micro).
• Disconnect/Reconnect (D/R).
• Non-comms troubleshooting and resolution.
• Complete accurate job documentation (JCOs, photos, notes).
• Maintain safety and professionalism on site.
