AES US is looking for a Solar Technician II for O&M activities at the solar PV sites in Indiana. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the operations exceed industry standards. Ideal candidates should possess a technical degree and at least 3 years of experience as a solar technician. The position involves working on the Hardy Hills project and requires a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
The role also necessitates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in teams.
The AES Operations team is looking for a Solar Technician II. This position will cover assigned O&M activities associated with the solar PV sites and substations of the utility‑scale solar energy plants located in Indiana. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that AES CE operates the portfolio to standards that exceed industry best‑practice. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with the ability to build, train and lead other field personnel, and will have an opportunity for professional growth as AES CE expands its leading position among IPPs.
This role will work on the Hardy Hills project (Frankfort, IN 46041). Daily commute to the site is required. Traveling up to 25% will be required, mainly to support operations in the Hardy Hills project.
