Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Solar Technician to operate and maintain the Trade Post Solar Energy Center in Fairbanks, Indiana. This role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance of solar equipment and substations, with a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm schedule and potential overtime.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of technical experience, will travel up to 30%, and must work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and climb safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on solar, substation, and related equipment.
• Execute vegetation management and operate large equipment per maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic problems including inverter and tracker faults.
