Job summary

Supreme Power LLC is hiring a Solar PV Service & Maintenance Technician to support our growing solar maintenance and electrical services team in the Greater New Orleans/Metairie area. The role focuses on inspections, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of solar PV systems for residential and commercial customers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with solar panels, inverters, wiring, and electrical components, plus a strong mechanical aptitude and customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solar PV systems including panels, inverters, wiring and safety considerations.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting on residential/commercial systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform solar panel inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot solar PV system performance issues.
• Assist with electrical repairs and system servicing within qualifications.
• Perform solar panel cleaning and equipment inspections.
• Assist with solar panel removal and reinstallation for roofing projects.
• Conduct post-storm solar system inspections and assessments.
• Maintain accurate service records and inspection documentation.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and company standards.
• Travel to customer locations throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and safety-conscious Solar PV Service & Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in solar photovoltaic systems, electrical troubleshooting, or related technical fields and takes pride in delivering professional, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
