Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple solar EPC projects from initiation through commissioning. The role includes coordinating with owners, utilities, landowners, developers and internal teams to deliver on schedule, budget, quality and safety objectives.

The hybrid role is based in Columbia, MD or West Lebanon, NH, with travel to sites as needed and collaboration across engineering, construction, and operations teams to maximize project value and

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years progressive experience in construction/development including PM roles.
• Experience with utility-scale PV systems (>5 MW, preferably >25 MW).
• Experience in constructing substations and/or solar interconnects into substations preferred.
• Advanced understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, codes, design/build contracts, and construction means and methods.
• Experience with land development and project financial closing requirements.
• Experience with large-scale cut and fill earthwork or landfill construction required.
• Experience with subcontracting industrial or large commercial electrical work required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the delivery of Company projects, on time, on budget, and in accordance with all health, safety, contract, quality, and legal requirements; coordinate, supervise, and manage project team and outside partners; lead team in vetting, pricing, and contracting subcontractors.
• Manage budget, expenses, revenue, margin, and schedule for multiple projects; forecast revenues, cost, and margins; manage subcontractor payments.
• Implement health and safety program for each project; ensure compliance with contracts, laws, permits, and AHJs.
• Support origination, development, financing, and engineering teams on project matters; perform site diligence and attend AHJ meetings.
• Report on projects to stakeholders; update progress on the company PM platform.
• Other duties as assigned.
