Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–7 years of renewable energy development, land development, utility infrastructure, permitting, or project management.
• Experience managing discretionary permitting processes and public meetings.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the advancement of solar and energy storage projects from site control through development completion.
• Develop and execute project-specific permitting strategies.
• Manage discretionary permitting processes (zoning approvals, CUPs, site plan approvals, variances).
• Prepare and manage project schedules identifying permitting, interconnection, environmental, and land milestones.
• Coordinate with agencies and consultants to ensure timely approvals.
• Coordinate utility interconnection applications and related deliverables.
• Manage land acquisition activities including lease negotiations and access agreements.
• Procure, negotiate, and manage third-party consultant agreements.
• Track project budgets, schedules, and risks, and prepare status reports.
