Our World Energy seeks a Site Surveyor (Solar) in Southern California to perform on-site site audits and data collection for solar design. Travel, roof work experience, and strong communication are required to support customers going solar.

The role entails rooftop mapping, shading data collection, and collaboration with design teams to produce permit-ready documents. Benefits include comprehensive packages and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience: at least 1 year of roof work or construction.
• Ability to read, understand, and comprehend contract documents and plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for site audit meetings with customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-ground contact and support the end-to-end solar process.
• Schedule management across multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Create rooftop maps with layout dimensions and penetrations.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare deliverables for downstream teams.
• Collect shading data using designated software and tools.
• Perform site audits with tablets, measuring devices, CRM, camera, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with design/engineering to produce permit-ready documents.
• Apply basic geometry to calculate area and panel layouts.
• Manage own schedule with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to safety requirements and regulations.
