Job summary

Option One Solar and Chaparosa Roofing are seeking a Roofing Site Surveyor to visit Escondido and other Southern California project sites. You will gather measurements, review plans, and document field conditions to bridge sales and construction teams.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, clear communication, and hands-on site work. Travel will be required; full-time W-2 employment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Home inspection, roofing, solar, construction, or site survey experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans required
• Comfortable visiting job sites and documenting field conditions accurately
• Experience with JobNimbus, CRM systems, or project management tools is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple site visits and priorities
• Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and internal teams
• Valid driver's license required. A company vehicle may be provided depending on role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential and commercial project sites to complete site surveys
• Gather accurate measurements, photos, notes, and project information
• Review plans and compare them with actual site conditions
• Identify access issues, structural concerns, roof details, and project-specific requirements
• Communicate findings clearly with sales, project management, and construction teams
• Enter and maintain survey information in company systems
• Use JobNimbus and/or other CRM or project management tools as needed
• Help ensure each project moves smoothly from sale to construction
