Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a skilled Fence Installer/Laborer for large-scale solar projects in Carrboro, NC. You will install perimeter and substation fencing per project drawings, safety standards, and local regulations, ensuring site security and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of fence installation experience, can read blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and lift 50+ lbs. A valid driver’s license is required; OSHA 10/30 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of fence installation experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings and follow technical specs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install chain-link and game fencing around solar fields and substations per drawings and NEC/AHJ requirements.
• Set terminal, brace, and line posts using concrete footings or driven methods.
• Assemble and hang gates with tamper-proof hardware.
• Read blueprints, site plans, and fencing specs to determine layout.
