Solar Medix seeks a hands-on Solar Service Manager to lead residential and commercial service operations. The role is ideal for a top-performing solar technician ready to assume leadership and manage people, troubleshoot complex system issues, and keep operations running smoothly.

You will oversee field technicians, handle advanced troubleshooting, coordinate service work, and ensure high customer satisfaction across all projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solar experience (install, service, or O&M).
• Experience with both residential and commercial systems.
• Leadership or team management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC and solar best practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Report directly to Director of Ops and CEO.
• Lead and manage a team of solar service technicians.
• Oversee daily service operations (residential + commercial).
• Diagnose and resolve complex solar system issues (inverters, monitoring, electrical faults).
• Optimize scheduling, dispatching, and job efficiency.
• Manage subcontractors (including roofing crews).
• Handle permitting, inspections, and utility coordination.
• Support sales with system upgrades, add-ons, and technical insight.
• Aid in the creation of service estimates and assist with project scoping.
• Maintain inventory, tools, fleet, and warehouse organization.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and NEC code.
• Act as escalation point for customer and technical issues.
