Job summary

Venture Home in Pittsburgh is seeking a results-driven Solar Sales Consultant to help homeowners switch to clean energy. This is an in-home/outside sales role where qualified appointments are set for you to close with the best combination of products and a proven track record.

You’ll be supported by an experienced team, earn base pay plus uncapped commissions (OTE $100,000–$250,000), and benefit from a 401k match and health coverage while building a meaningful career in residential solar.

Qualifications

• Minimum sales experience required.
• In-home/outside sales experience preferred.
• Experience in solar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to present solar options and close deals.
• Coordinate with appointment teams to ensure smooth scheduling and follow-up.
• Educate customers on financing options and savings with solar.

About the Role

A Solar Sales Consultant is NOT a lead generation role where you will be asked to knock on doors or cold call. We are seeking experienced sales representatives that areclosers with a track record of success in sales and are looking for the right environment to be successful.

Our appointment setting teams will schedule qualified appointments on your calendar for you to meet with the homeowners and close with the best combination of products, services, and track record in the industry.

We view the sales process in solar to be educational and we realize that it is an emotional decision for people to make the switch, so we focus on making sure that our customers understand not just how solar works, but also where the money is coming from to help pay for their project so that it doesn't seem "too good to be true".
