Job summary

Venture Home is seeking a Solar Sales Consultant in the Baltimore area to drive in-home sales with our appointment-setter team handling initial outreach and scheduling. Close deals using a proven mix of products, services, and track record in the solar industry.

You will receive a base salary plus uncapped commission (OTE $100,000-$250,000) and benefits including 401k match, health/dental/vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is required.
• Outside sales (in-home) is preferred.
• Solar experience is welcomed.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the role.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to present solar options and close deals with a strong product mix.
• Work with appointment setters who schedule qualified meetings on your calendar.
• Engage customers to explain solar benefits and financing options in an educational manner.

About the Role

A Solar Sales Consultant is NOT a lead generation role where you will be asked to knock on doors or cold call. We are seeking experienced sales representatives that are closers with a track record of success in sales and are looking for the right environment to be successful.

Our appointment setting teams will schedule qualified appointments on your calendar for you to meet with the homeowners and close with the best combination of products, services, and track record in the industry.

We view the sales process in solar to be educational and we realize that it is an emotional decision for people to make the switch, so we focus on making sure that our customers understand not just how solar works, but also where the money is coming from to help pay for their project so that it doesn't seem 'too good to be true'.
