Job summary

Colite Technologies is seeking an experienced electrician to support the growth of our renewable solutions business in the southeastern U.S. You will install inverters, disconnects, cables, panels and conduit for commercial rooftop solar systems, and commission control devices. Frequent travel is required; most work is on weekdays.

Qualified candidates will read electrical drawings, test voltages, and understand NEC Art. 690 and 705.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Familiar with NEC requirements and electrical safety practices.
• Experience in solar installation and PV systems is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical equipment for commercial rooftop solar systems.
• Bend, size and install conduit; pull and terminate wiring.
• Install distribution panels and disconnects; commissioning components.
• Coordinate with customers, authorities and utilities at sites.
• Lead and train crew members when needed; ensure quality and schedule adherence.
