Job summary
Exact Solar in Newtown, PA is seeking a Solar Installer to join our Installation team. The successful candidate will install residential and small commercial PV systems, work safely with trained teams, and ensure on-time completion with strong communication.
Experience in roofing, carpentry, and electrical basics is valued. OSHA training is provided, and we offer a supportive, staff-oriented environment that rewards performance and offers benefits and career growth.
Qualifications
- Roofing, general construction, and carpentry experience valued.
- Ability to safely handle ladders, inverters, solar panels, batteries, and related electrical equipment.
- Capable of working in extreme environments (hot sun, cold, crawl spaces).
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work at heights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have valid driver's license and pass pre-employment screening.
Responsibilities
- Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware.
- Assist with the electrical wiring of all energy products.
- Prepare and clean‑up job site; pull materials for installations.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the process.
- Represent Exact Solar as a field contact for the customer with professionalism.
- Additional duties required as needed.
