Job summary

Samsung C&T Renewables America is seeking a highly motivated Project Development Director to support the identification, evaluation, acquisition, and development of land for utility-scale solar energy projects across North America. This role is critical to advancing our growing renewable energy portfolio by securing and managing the real estate interests necessary for successful project development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Energy, or related field.
• 4+ years of active Solar Project Development (Real Estate).
• Strong negotiation and contractual awareness.
• Knowledge of land records, title, and easements.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify sites and perform real estate due diligence for solar projects.
• Negotiate land terms, easements, ROW, and interconnection rights.
• Coordinate title work, surveys, and environmental studies.
• Lead cross-functional teams across legal, engineering, and BD.
• Manage permits, tax abatements, and regulatory requirements.
