Job summary

SunPower is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Orem, UT to support Blue Raven Solar installations. This mid-level role focuses on field troubleshooting, coordinating with regional managers and crews, triaging failed inspections, and scheduling corrections to keep installations on track.

The candidate will communicate with field employees, sales reps, and the Design team, utilizing CAD tools and software to ensure high-quality solar installations with strong customer service and reliability.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with CAD software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Able to multitask and stay organized.
Willing to learn and adapt to solar industry.
Attendance and reliability required.

Responsibilities

Make same day and immediate installation changes (layouts, interconnections, etc.).
Identify the root causes in the field and problem solve to prevent recurrence.
Ensure field work types are completed correctly (MPUs, Roof Assessments).
Answer phone calls quickly and professionally – with great customer service.
Coordinate between customers and field resources to schedule correction work.
Review correction work to verify completion before requesting a reinspection.
Effectively use the available software: CRM, Excel, Site Capture, AutoCAD, Aurora.
