Job summary

Core Group Resources is seeking an experienced Solar QA/QC Inspector to support a short-term utility-scale solar inspection project in Miller City, Ohio. This role focuses on field inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of solar tracker systems and related components across an operating solar facility.

The assignment is approximately two weeks, beginning around September 21, 2026. The inspector will identify defects, document findings with photos and GPS data, and uphold project quality

Qualifications

• Proven experience in utility-scale solar inspections or field QA/QC.
• Experience inspecting solar trackers, PV modules, piles, and related components.
• Ability to identify installation defects and document issues clearly.
• Comfort with mobile devices, GPS tools, and digital reporting systems.
• Ability to work independently in outdoor field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of solar tracker assemblies and mechanical systems.
• Identify, document, and categorize defects and failure modes.
• Capture clear photographic evidence of findings.
• Record GPS-referenced inspection data and photos.
• Enter findings into digital templates per procedures.
• Adhere to project quality standards and safety protocols.
• Maintain organized inspection records.
• Communicate significant issues to the project team.
• Ensure completion of work within the two-week window.
