Job summary

Simply Solar is seeking a Project Manager to drive solar and energy storage projects from kickoff to completion. You will be the primary client contact and bridge between customers, trades, and internal teams to ensure installations meet timelines and specifications.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex technical details into clear language for diverse stakeholders. Hybrid shifts and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior PV or energy storage experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and single-line diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team coordination.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams on project scope and design details.
• Ensure projects meet timelines, specs, and quality standards.

• Manage the new home pipeline and coordinate with general contractors on build status.

What you’ll be doing

Our Project Managers are the driving force behind our solar and energy storage projects, steering them from day one through completion. You'll be the client's go-to contact and the connective tissue across teams — ensuring installations run smoothly, benchmarks are met, and every customer walks away impressed.

Key Duties:

• Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal departments regarding project specifics and system design, including implementing proposed solutions and tracking estimated timeframes
• Ensure projects are completed on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
• Field client issues, elevate to appropriate teams if needed, and follow up to ensure timely resolution
• Articulate technical concepts, product specifications, and design criteria to clients and external stakeholders
• Manage our new home pipeline and coordinate with general contractors regarding build status
• Document project specifics and updates in our project management software
• Track milestones and expedite projects per required benchmarks
• Provide outstanding customer service and effectively manage client expectations

About you

The ideal candidate has prior PV or related experience and can move fluidly between technical problem-solving and strong customer service. They know the solar industry well, think analytically, and don’t miss the details. Just as important, they can explain complex work in plain terms and speak the same language as the tradespeople they work alongside.

Qualifications:

• Prior industry experience required
• Energy storage system experience a plus
• General construction knowledge a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and single-line diagrams
• Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and ability to navigate industry‑specific terminology
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including developing business relationships with internal and external parties
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work successfully in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger team
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office and GSuite
• Ability to learn quickly and develop additional industry knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
