Job summary

Radial Power is seeking a Project Engineer in New York to support the technical evaluation, engineering design, and execution of commercial and industrial solar projects. The role emphasizes structural engineering, solar racking systems, and compliance with building codes.

You will work with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure safe, cost-efficient designs from feasibility through construction, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of project engineering experience in renewable energy or solar.
• PE license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities for commercial and industrial solar projects from development through construction.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, development, procurement, and construction teams to deliver technically sound and cost-effective project solutions.
• Assist with engineering design reviews and technical evaluations throughout the project lifecycle.
