Job summary

Radial Power, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support the technical evaluation, engineering design, and execution of commercial and industrial solar projects. You will collaborate across teams to ensure sound, cost-effective solutions from feasibility through construction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
2–4 years as a Project Engineer in renewable energy or solar.
Experience with commercial/industrial solar projects preferred.
PE license or EIT a plus.
Familiarity with structural analysis software and PV design platforms.

Responsibilities

Support engineering activities for commercial and industrial solar projects from development through construction.
Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, development, procurement, and construction teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
Assist with engineering design reviews and technical evaluations throughout the project lifecycle.
Review structural as-built drawings and assess roof structural capacities for rooftop solar.
Evaluate structural feasibility for rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems.
Prepare preliminary racking and structural assessment reports per applicable codes.
Review site geotechnical reports and evaluate foundation designs.
Validate structural calculations and engineering assumptions for feasibility.
Collaborate with consultants and vendors to optimize designs.
