Job summary

MARS Energy Solutions in Rocklin, CA seeks a Project Engineer II to design and execute solar PV, BESS, and EV infrastructure projects. The role blends design and field work 50/50, reporting to a Senior Project Engineer and assisting the Project Manager.

You'll work on interconnection, permitting, and field support across multiple projects with limited supervision, requiring strong CAD and Helioscope skills. U.S.-based candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in solar PV design or project engineering.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with limited supervision.
• ABET accredited degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and field execution of solar PV projects.
• Develop preliminary layouts and concepts in Helioscope and AutoCAD.
• Prepare CAD drawings and coordinate with field operations.
• Support interconnection and PTO activities with utilities and AHJs.
