Job summary

First Solar is seeking a qualified supervisor to oversee daily production of photovoltaic modules in one of our production areas. You will ensure quality standards, drive cost efficiency, and coach manufacturing associates to perform at a high level.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or related settings, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office; occasional travel and adherence to safety standards are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Candidate must meet one (1) of the six (6) criteria listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production of photovoltaic modules.
• Directly supervise in at least one plant area.
• Coordinate on-the-job training for manufacturing associates.
• Identify training opportunities to develop a capable team.
• Maintain associate records in company systems (e.g., Kronos).
• Utilize internal manufacturing software for production tracking.
