Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a dependable Land Maintenance Technician to support solar power plant sites across California. You will perform landscape tasks, operate equipment, and uphold safety standards in outdoor environments.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to environmental regulations, and hands-on problem solving. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a willingness to travel to sites in CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to follow safety standards and wear PPE.
• Valid driver's license preferred and travel to site.
• Basic reading/writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Keeps safety and environment as number one priority and utilizes PPE when required.
• Executes on washing panels utilizing panel washing equipment.
• Performs land maintenance functions including pulling weeds, mowing, raking, sweeping, and cleaning.
• Operates landscaping equipment including tractors, mowers, weed whackers, and related tools.
• Identifies process improvements and communicates them to supervisor.
• Applies chemicals as directed.
• Licensing credential preferred.
• Basic computer use including Microsoft Office and work order systems.
