Qcells North America is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive the development, evaluation, and qualification of PV module products. You will lead new product development projects, fabricate test modules, evaluate materials for manufacturability, and perform reliability analysis to ensure long-term performance.

The role requires collaboration with suppliers, internal manufacturing and quality groups, and overseas teams, with travel to Korea, Germany, and U.S. sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and hands-on experience in material development or solar module engineering.
• Ability to read test data and translate results into engineering decisions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and evaluate solar modules and associated materials.
• Fabricate pilot and test modules and assess material compatibility during production.
• Perform reliability testing (damp heat, thermal cycling, humidity-freeze, UV exposure, mechanical load) and post-test analysis.
• Analyze results, summarize findings, and support material selection and qualification decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and overseas partners to ensure timely project execution.
• Address supplier issues and project risks to minimize delays.
• Travel to Korea, Germany, and domestic sites for alignment and meetings.
