Job summary

CIG COMPANIES SERVICES is seeking a Controller to oversee all financial operations for its U.S. solar module manufacturing business from Orlando, FL, with significant travel to the TX plant.

The role emphasizes GAAP reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and strong internal controls. The successful candidate will lead ERP initiatives, provide strategic financial analysis, and partner with plant leadership, supply chain, and corporate finance to drive profitability and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA required.
• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GAAP financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Oversee P&L, balance sheet, cash flow reporting.
• Analyze financial and operational performance; provide insights to senior management.
• Lead ERP implementation and data migration; ensure compliant reporting.
• Develop cost models; track production variances; optimize cost efficiency.
• Maintain internal controls over AP/AR/inventory and fixed assets.
• Mentor accounting staff and collaborate with operations and procurement.
