Job summary

Solect Energy in Hopkinton, MA is seeking a Fleet & Logistics Technician to coordinate the safe and timely movement of materials, equipment, and supplies for our operations. You will perform on-site deliveries, manage warehouse activities, and support fleet documentation to help field teams operate efficiently and safely.

The role includes driving company vehicles, staging at job sites, assisting with permits, and maintaining inventory and safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or construction-support environments.
• Valid driver’s license, DOT Medical Card, and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to job sites and work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to deliver materials and equipment to job sites; operate lifts as needed.
• Pre-stage and stage sites using site-checklists and photos per safety policies.
• Assist Regulatory team with permit drop-offs and pickups.
• Receive, load/unload, and organize deliveries; maintain warehouse inventory.
• Set up safety equipment and prepare materials for field deployment.
• Coordinate rental equipment delivery/pickup and facility maintenance needs.
• Maintain fleet documentation including DVIRs, DOT logs, and delivery acknowledgments.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities to the Logistics Manager in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to safety requirements and company procedures; comply with regulatory standards.
• Contract role with potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
