Solar Laborer II
Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer II that will be responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Prepare, handle, and supply materials to be used by other crafts
- Solar panel installation
- Rigging
- Racking assembly
- Torque tube assembly
- Pile layout
- General cleanup and clearing of debris
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have completed a two-year apprenticeship
- Experience in construction preferred
- Proficiency with tools and equipment such as power and non‑powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
- Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, detail orientation, active listening skills, and effective communication, including openness to diverse input and feedback
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, or leg movements
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
