Job description

Solar Laborer II

Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer II that will be responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials to be used by other crafts
• Solar panel installation
• Rigging
• Racking assembly
• Torque tube assembly
• Pile layout
• General cleanup and clearing of debris
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have completed a two-year apprenticeship
• Experience in construction preferred
• Proficiency with tools and equipment such as power and non‑powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
• Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, detail orientation, active listening skills, and effective communication, including openness to diverse input and feedback
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, or leg movements
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
