Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is hiring a Full Time Installation Technician in Ohio. You will assemble and install solar panels on roofs, configure PV systems based on site conditions, and connect panels to the power grid. Candidates should have a high school diploma and PV knowledge, with teamwork and safety priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical school training preferred.
• Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs.
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and connects panels to the power grid.
• Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.
• Complete projects within established policies and procedures.
• Ensures that equipment is weather sealed.
• Performs routine maintenance on PV systems.
• Responsible for assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
