Job description

Wayfare Energy is looking for an experienced Solar Installer Lead to manage and ensure the efficiency, quality and safety of the PV solar installation process at residential sites across the Orlando area.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead residential roof installation of PV solar equipment from start to finish
  • Monitor progress of installers throughout process to ensure the installation is correct
  • Install PV systems in accordance with codes and standards using blueprints and project plans
  • Work with customers and site crew to ensure tasks are performed on time, efficiently and safely
  • Complete reports and other documentation
  • Travel to customer sites and perform installs

Requirements

Qualified candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1-year experience with residential installs
  • Residential lead/foreman experience with ability to lead a productive crew
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on quality and safety
  • Willing to travel
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, understand code and knowledge of electricity basics
  • NABCEP certification preferred
  • OSHA 10/OSHA 30 preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather environments depending on job location
  • Ability to work on roofs and in tight crawl spaces/attic settings
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Interest in the solar industry
