Job description

Wayfare Energy is looking for an experienced Electrician Lead (Solar) to manage and ensure the efficiency, quality and safety of the PV solar installation process at residential sites across the Palm Beach & Broward County areas.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Install electrical for roof/attic residential worksites from start to finish during the PV solar installation process
  2. Project plan, read blueprints and understand code
  3. Travel to residential customer sites and perform installs
  4. Work with customers and site crew to ensure tasks are performed on time, efficiently and safely
  5. Complete reports and other documentation
Requirements

Qualified candidate will have:

  1. 2-3 years solar experience
  2. Residential foreman experience with ability to lead a productive crew
  3. Attention to detail with emphasis on quality and safety
  4. Willing to travel
  5. Strong customer service and communication skills
  6. NABCEP certification preferred
  7. Formal education and/or training preferred
  8. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  9. Ability to work in all weather environments depending on job location
  10. Ability to work on roofs and in tight crawl spaces and attic settings
  11. Valid driver's license
  12. Reliable transportation
  13. Authorized to work in the U.S.
  14. Interest in the solar industry
