Job summary

Sunrun is seeking an Installer to join our solar installation team in Irvine, CA. You will collaborate with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete residential solar projects, ensuring safety and quality at every step.

The role involves installing solar modules, mounts, and electrical components, while maintaining site cleanliness and safety compliance in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous solar, construction or military experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on rooftops.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety for personnel, crew, and job site; participate in training on products and safety.
• Review loading dock inventory to stock the crew truck.
• Complete layout and assemble solar modules, racking, mounts, electrical equipment per project plan.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structures and supports.
• Perform project clean up to maintain a clean job site.
