Garber Electrical Contractors is seeking a Mechanical Solar Installer to support the installation of solar panels, racking, and related hardware in line with project specs, company standards, and safety expectations.
You will travel to job sites, assist with mounting panels, use hand and power tools, and read installation drawings to ensure accurate, high-quality work across varying sites and conditions. A team-focused, safety-conscious mindset is essential.
Qualifications

- Able to work in all weather, at heights, and lift/move 75+ lbs.
Responsibilities
- Travel to job sites, including out-of-town/overnight as needed.
- Assist with mounting panels and racking systems per plans.
- Use hand/power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read installation drawings and complete work accurately to requirements.
- Work from ladders, rooftops, scaffolds, and lifts when required.
- Follow safety policies and report hazards or site concerns promptly.
- Support progress through site prep, material handling, and assigned tasks.
