Job description

Ambrosia Energy is on a mission to make solar + battery systems the fastest-to-deploy and most cost-effective energy source in the US and beyond. As global energy demand surges—driven by the rapid rise of data centers, electric vehicles, and future in-home robotics—the world stands at a critical energy inflection point. To meet this challenge, we need innovative, scalable power sources. Our engineering-led team, with expertise in designing and deploying satellite constellations (Swarm, Starlink Mobile), is now focused on energy on Earth. We're developing affordable, clean energy solutions with new battery storage systems. United by strong team camaraderie, we prioritize speed, rapid iteration, vertical integration, and a test-like-you-fly approach. We're committed to making an impact on the future of energy.

Role

We are designing and developing the lowest cost form of energy for the US. As a member of the solar team, you will help turn light from the sun into useful energy for the US and compute facilities. Become one of an elite team member of fast paced solar installers to help the US regain its dominance in the energy sector.

Responsibilities
  • $30/hr, 1st shift: 5 AM – 3:00 PM
  • $40/hr, 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 1 AM
Qualifications
  • High school degree or equivalency certificate.
  • 1+ years of hands‑on work experience or vocational training/cert.
  • A strong sense of reliability, with a work ethic that supports keeping the installation moving.
  • No prior experience needed installing solar panels or wiring.
  • Hands‑on experience using hand tools, and power tools.
  • Enjoy being outside, and ok being in the sun, heat, dust, and wind.
  • The solar panels weigh 80 lbs, and you must be able to lift a 40 pound solar panel weight with another installer for 8 hrs at a time.
  • Extreme attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Preferred Skills or Experience
  • Previously worked long hours outside in construction, on a farm, or actively rock climb.
