Job summary

SunPower Corporation seeks an entry-level Solar Panel Installer to join our on-site team. You will spend most days on rooftops installing solar systems, with 70-90% rooftop work in all weather.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior solar installation experience not required.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and working at heights.
• Demonstrated customer service mindset and teamwork.

• Support the crew to assure the successful completion of the solar system installation

Solar Installer

Job Level: Entry-Level

Shift: Full-time (40-45 hours)

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000/year plus paid training

Position Summary:

As a Solar Panel Installer, you must be a hard worker ready to help with the installation of solar systems. You will spend 70-90% of your day working on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions. The most important feature of a good solar installer is being someone willing to learn, and motivated. Someone wanting to make a difference while providing world-class customer service skills. Essential Duties:

Key Competencies:

• Must be able to consistently carry up to 60 pounds
• Must be comfortable working with heights (Ladders, stairs, and roofs)
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
• Prior residential solar installation experience preferred but not required
• Prior roofing/roofer experience or residential construction preferred but not required
