Job summary
Gardner Energy in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Solar Installer II to support the installation and commissioning of commercial and residential solar systems. You will work with a crew to deliver safe, high-quality installations on schedule.
This full-time role requires at least 1 year of solar experience, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k) with company contributions, and rotating schedules.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in solar and renewable energy.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to 75 pounds.
- Comfort working at heights and on rooftops.
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems including racking, modules, DC wiring, and components.
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
- Perform daily job site assessments and safety meetings.
- Lead team of installers on specific tasks.
- Travel to job sites and work outdoors on rooftops.
- Communicate effectively with team, foremen, customers, and vendors.
- Maintain job site cleanliness and professionalism.
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency in installation processes.
