Job summary

Sunrun Installation Services Inc. seeks a Lead Solar Installer to launch and lead installation crews from the new St. Louis branch. Expect hands-on leadership during the pre-launch phase in Chicago, with permanent leadership of local crews when doors open in early 2027.

The role includes cross-training in solar, battery, and service operations through Sunrun’s Power+ program, travel between St. Louis and Chicago, and a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires solar installation experience or equivalent construction/military experience.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory and stock crew truck for installation readiness.
• Assemble racking, modules, mounts and electrical equipment per plan.
• Lead crew to perform safe, efficient solar installations.
• Ensure job site safety and post-install cleanup.
