Job summary

LA Solar Group Inc. is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy and performance for a growing solar company.

The CFO will partner with the CEO and executive team to drive growth, optimize cash flow, and manage project finance, tax incentives, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include budgeting, long‑term planning, financial modeling for solar projects, and managing relationships with banks and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 8–15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Experience in solar/renewable energy or project-based industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project finance, tax equity, and capital structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making, investments, and expansion.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.
• Analyze financial performance, margins, and project profitability.
• Prepare financial models for solar projects, acquisitions, and financing.
• Lead solar project financing, including debt, equity, tax equity, and PPA structures.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, tax equity partners, and lenders.
• Monitor cash flow across construction, installation, and interconnection phases.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Oversee accounting, payroll, AP/AR, and internal controls.
• Manage audits, tax filings, and financial risk management.
• Oversee federal, state, and local solar incentives, including ITC.
