Palmetto is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician in Phoenix, AZ. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain residential solar systems, working closely with the Services team to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years installing, repairing, and troubleshooting residential solar & storage systems.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work safely on rooftops and in extreme environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite troubleshooting and repair of solar systems.
• Document visit and complete job closeout report.
• Schedule site visits with customers as needed.
• Coordinate with field teams and scheduling to optimize resolution times.
• Support installation, service, and closeout activities across projects.
• Perform site surveys and inspections; contribute to safety and quality audits.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or rooftops as required.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about arrival times and work status.
