Job summary

Velaz Solar is seeking a results-driven Solar Field Operations Manager to lead a door-knock team and drive sales performance in New Jersey. You will oversee day-to-day operations, training, and coaching to ensure targets are met while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer engagement.

You will recruit and mentor a team of door knockers, develop strategies to beat KPIs, and collaborate with solar consultants to optimize lead flow and conversions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in solar door-to-door (D2D) sales.
• Proven experience in sales management or team leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of door knockers to generate leads and set appointments for solar consultants.
• Develop and execute strategies to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Provide daily coaching to improve conversion rates and appointment-setting efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Foster a competitive yet supportive team leadership environment.
• Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, appointment setting, and conversion rates.
