Job summary

Canadian Solar CS Power Systems in Indiana is seeking a Facility Engineer to oversee and maintain complex building systems, ensuring safe, reliable operations and driving efficiency across the site. You will lead preventive maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and manage energy and waste initiatives to support production.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of facility management experience, strong knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of facility management or building systems experience.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and project management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of building systems to ensure safety and reliability.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage facility improvement projects with contractors.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and energy/waste practices.
• Maintain records and report on facility operations and project status.
• Coordinate vendor/contractor work and manage budgets and timelines.
