Job summary

Melink Solar is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee solar installation projects from inception through delivery. You will plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities, ensuring schedules, budgets, and all client requirements are met while reporting to the Director of Operations.

The role requires strong communication, contract knowledge, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. On-site supervision and up to 25% travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years related experience.
• PMP or like certification preferred.
• NABCEP certification preferred.
• Electrical engineering experience preferred.
• Solar PV system maintenance or design experience is a plus.
• Able to work on ladders and man-lifts.
• Ability to write reports and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve budgets before proposals are delivered to clients.
• Draft, review, and deliver AIA contracts to sub-contractors.
• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of the project.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to outline work plans and assign roles.
• Direct and coordinate activities to meet schedule and budget.
• Provide monthly revenue/COGS forecasts based on project timelines.
• Prepare status reports for management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Serve as liaison to Business Development, Project Engineer, and clients.
• Assist design aspects of solar PV systems if qualified.
• Oversee on-site activities and travel up to 25%.
