Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Electrical Trainee to support field crews on residential solar and storage installations. This role blends hands-on electrical work with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork, helping Foremen, Electricians, and Installers complete projects efficiently while upholding our high standards.

Daily tasks include assisting with wiring, racking, trenching, and site prep, reading plans, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience
Knowledge of NEC and applicable codes and standards
Ability to perform all installation duties of the Installer and Lead Installer
Maintain a valid Driver's License
Willingness to participate in Power+ program

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of electrical systems that interconnect the solar array to the grid power of our customer's residential property
Assist in the troubleshooting of system problems and help resolve electrical issues
Assemble the racking and solar array when assigned
Trenching, concrete work and equipment assembly
Project clean up including client site and installation vehicle
Ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on safety, quality, customer service, and productivity
Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards related to photovoltaic installations and enforce safety practices and standards
Develop a positive working dynamic within installation crew and branch co-workers
