Job summary

Facility Innovations Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our field crews on commercial and industrial solar installations. You will work under licensed electricians, supporting material handling, conduit prep, wire pulls, and site upkeep while earning apprenticeship hours.

Starting pay is $35.00 per hour. Enrollees in a state-registered electrical apprenticeship (or eligible) are encouraged to apply; OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a state-registered electrical apprenticeship or eligibility.
Reliable, safety-focused work habits and a strong work ethic.
Willingness to learn the electrical trade and take direction from journeymen and foremen.
Comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites, including lifting materials and ladders/lifts.
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
Ability to pass a background check.
Competitive pay commensurate with experience ($35.00 per hour to start).
On-the-job training toward journeyman license.

Responsibilities

Assist journeyman electricians with installations under supervision.
Handle materials, prep conduit, pull wire, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Complete required apprenticeship hours and coursework.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Learn to read plans and specifications and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC).
