Job summary

Soligent is seeking a Delivery Driver/Distribution Center Specialist in California to provide prompt, courteous deliveries and support general warehouse duties. You will play a key role in bringing clean energy to customers while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory control, vehicle maintenance, and coordinating with customers. A valid license, required certifications, and strong attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• Physical screening and DOT Medical Card.
• Background check.
• Motor vehicle record check.
• Must obtain Hazmat certification within 3 months of hire.
• 1–3 years of recent commercial delivery driving in a warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills; able to read invoices and use computer terminals.
• Use a hand truck, understand assemblies, and operate small power tools.
• Forklift certification is required at some facilities.
• Driver must be 21 years or older.
• Subject to random and post-accident drug screening.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise safely to customer locations with courteous service.
• Inspect delivery vehicles for safety and security during loading/unloading.
• Pick, pack and load orders for delivery.
• Contact customers to confirm delivery details via phone, email, and text.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
• Keep inventory accurate to ensure expedient movement of merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of workspace and equipment.
• Inspect products on receipt and follow policies.
• Greet clients and answer phones promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of products and offerings.
• Keep vehicles fueled and report repairs as needed.
• Follow safety rules and applicable laws.
• Support with other duties as assigned by manager.
