Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables is offering an Electrical Engineering Internship for Summer 2027. The role supports design, development, and execution of utility-scale solar and BESS projects across planning, design, and construction.

You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD-based drawings, electrical deliverables, and interconnection activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Compensation is an hourly rate of $25 and the internship runs 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Foundational knowledge of NEC, NESC, IBC and related standards.
• Basic understanding of AC power distribution/transmission.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Interest in ETAP and electrical system modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop AutoCAD-based drawings and design docs under supervision.
• Prepare electrical deliverables and construction drawing packages for solar projects.
• Assist in PV and BESS design including interconnection activities.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering and Delivery teams for project execution.
• Share lessons learned and best practices with the team.
• Represent OneEnergy Renewables professionally with stakeholders.
