Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Solar Construction Manager/General Foreman for utility-scale projects. This fully onsite role requires leading on-site construction, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring safe, high-quality installations across the country.

You will interpret schematics, conduct OSHA-aligned safety meetings, and guide planning with material takeoffs. Expect up to 100% travel and a path to permanent leadership in a mission-driven solar-focused company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in utility‑scale solar construction, with 3+ years in a leadership role (General Foreman, Superintendent, Construction Manager, Owner Rep, or QC Manager).
• Strong understanding of solar tracker systems - hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and construction math skills.
• Proven leadership and client relationship management.
• Willingness to travel nationwide up to 100% of the time.

About the Role

Join a leading solar tracking manufacturer and installation firm as a Solar Construction Manager, where you'll serve as a subject matter expert overseeing and/or instructing subcontracting construction companies in the installation of large-scale solar tracker systems across the country. This is a high-impact role for professionals with hands‑on experience in utility‑scale solar construction and a passion for delivering quality and safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
