Job summary

Orsted is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the Permian Solar and BESS facility in Texas. You’ll drive safety, reliability, and a world-class QHSE culture with the site team and external partners.

You’ll oversee planning, budgeting, performance, and engagement with landowners, agencies, and authorities to ensure safe, continuous power production. Travel to sites and trainings is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in operations or maintenance in power generation, transmissions, distribution, or a related field.
• Supervisory experience of at least one year is required.
• Ability to work on-call, overnight, and in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Permian Solar and BESS facilities, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance.
• Coordinate with O&M service provider, regulators, landowners, and agencies to support safe operations.
• Drive world-class QHSE culture and optimize asset availability and power production.
