Job summary

Moss is seeking a BESS Electrical Assistant Superintendent to coordinate and support on large utility solar projects across multiple states. You will work with superintendents, contractors and craft teams to ensure high-quality electrical installations, adherence to plans, and timely look-ahead scheduling.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, at least 2 years' experience with medium voltage equipment, and readiness to travel up to 100% across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with medium voltage equipment and cable.
• Proficiency in installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of medium voltage cables.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings, underground ducts, SCADA, and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee electrical installation across large utility solar projects.
• Support in review of drawings, submittals, RFIs, and quality checks.
• Develop project schedules and three-week look-ahead with the Electrical Superintendent.
• Coach field personnel and ensure resource availability and safety.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
